Hungry for more Zope 3? Here are some new appetizers!

It's been more than half a year that I started collecting introductory texts for Zope 3 called "appetizers." Hence it's time to take another look around the web for Zope 3-related tutorials and howtos.

First, there are are lots of updates to note. Benji York, for example, always keeps his Quick Start Guide current with the Zope 3 releases. Nice work, Benji! I should really manage to bring Jeff Shell's TODO application up-to-date with Zope 3.3. Or perhaps someone else would like to volunteer? Honest volunteers please call 1-800-PHILIKON.

Paul Carduner's Zope 3 class is a newcomer among the appetizers. Instead of doing a top-down tutorial, his Zope 3 introduction course looks like a real college course. Be sure not to miss that class! Extra credit is awarded to those who help Paul amend the tutorial; it currently only counts two lessons.

Another newcomer among the Zope 3 chefs is Rocky Burt. This Java convertee and Plone developer has surely drunken the Zope 3 Kool Aid and is now preaching the New Religion to all Plonistas. His blog series revolves mainly around using zope.formlib in Plone but doesn't miss to pick up other Zope 3 and Python technology along the way. Best thing is, his demo application is available in the Plone Collective SVN and ready for your contributions. Sing Halleluja, Rocky!

Are you hungry for Zope 3 but too lazy to eat for yourself? Well, fear no more because the Zope community has started to spoon-feed you documentation via screencasts. They currently only cover basic things like getting "Hello World" to display in a browser, but who's to say you couldn't start your movie career with a screencast on zope.formlib or zope.viewlet? The Zope Oscars are awaiting nominations...
